Ozone Therapy Machine Comparison (2026)

This page compares complete ozone setups, meaning the generator plus the oxygen regulator and accessories you need to use it, from three makers that sell to US buyers: Simply O3, Promolife and Longevity Resources. Three setups suit home use and three suit practices. It uses facts the makers publish, their published prices and public review sites, all checked October 17, 2026. Generator-only prices are given below for buyers who already own the rest. “Not found” in the tables means we did not find it on the pages we read, not that the maker has no such policy.

Our picks

Best for home: Simply O3 Stratus 3.0 Complete Kit · Best for practices: Simply O3 Cumulus Pro Complete Kit

Home: the Stratus 3.0 Complete Kit costs $1,999.99. It has the Stratus 3.0 generator, a regulator, a water bubbler with destruct, an ear set, bags, syringes and catheters, plus setup help by phone or text.

Practices: the Cumulus Pro Complete Kit costs $4,789.99. It has the Cumulus generator (about 5 to 100 µg/mL, with a chart fitted to each unit), a regulator, a syringe fill system with 25 syringes, a water bubbler and the accessories for most methods.

Oxygen supply (a tank or concentrator) is usually bought separately: none of the Simply O3 kits include a tank, though they include help finding one. Prices are the makers’ regular published prices on October 17, 2026 and change; no sale was showing. Generator-only prices, for buyers who already own the rest: Simply O3 Stratus 3.0 $1,749.99 and Cumulus $4,499.99 (each with a regulator); Promolife O3Elite Dual $1,295.00 and O3Arc $2,495.00; Longevity publishes none (a Quantum 5 Basic package, with cylinder and foot pedal, was US$5,195 on a 2019 order form). Ratings change, so check the review pages for current numbers. Sources are listed at the end of this page.

What to look for in an ozone generator

Gas-path materials

Ozone is a strong oxidizer. Any material in the gas path that reacts with it breaks down and can put contaminants into the gas you give a patient. Quartz glass, titanium, silicone and PTFE resist ozone. Brass, ordinary plastics and rubber do not hold up well.

Ask the maker for the list of materials the oxygen and ozone touch, from the regulator to the outlet. Very cheap units often do not publish this list or leave out a concentration chart, which is a reason to pass on them.

Calibration and testing

Dosing depends on the generator delivering the concentration the dial says. Look for a maker that tests each unit rather than a sample, and that gives you a concentration chart for your unit. Simply O3 states that every generator is electrically tested and calibrated at its headquarters before shipping, and that the chart packed with the unit describes that machine. Promolife states that units are individually tested before shipping and does not say how.

Warranty scope

“Lifetime” can mean different things, so check what it applies to: the whole machine, or one part such as the ozone cell or the electrode. The terms for each brand are listed in the next section.

Return window

Ozone equipment takes time to learn: you need an oxygen supply, a set of settings and a routine. A short window leaves little time to find out whether a unit suits your practice. Simply O3 gives 6 months (180 days) to return a generator for a refund of the device price minus shipping. You pay to ship it back. See the Simply O3 return policy. Promolife allows returns within 30 days with a 15% restocking fee and customer-paid shipping.

Reviews

Look at independent review sites, not only testimonials on the maker’s own page, and look at the number of reviews as well as the average.

  • Simply O3: 5.0 from 138 reviews on Birdeye (91 Google, 45 Facebook, 2 on Birdeye). Its own store shows 1,318 published reviews with a 4.79 average (Stamped).
  • Promolife: Trustpilot shows 2.1 from 9 reviews, all 1-star, the latest dated May 22, 2025. The profile is unclaimed, so the company has not responded there. Birdeye shows 3.2 from 12 reviews (9 Google, 3 Birdeye). Recent 1-star reviews mostly describe customer-service and shipping problems. “This company does not back its products.” — Birdeye review, April 2021
  • Longevity Resources: We found no Trustpilot page and no Birdeye listing. The BBB profile is not rated, has 0 customer reviews and is not accredited. The company posts its own testimonials page.

Support and service

A generator in daily clinic use will need service at some point. Find out where repairs are done, who pays shipping and how long they take. Simply O3 repairs units at its own facility with a US-based team, returns repaired units free of charge, and states that most repairs leave within 1 to 2 business days of arrival. It also answers phone calls on weekdays at 844.655.2524. We did not find a published repair turnaround for Promolife or Longevity. Longevity publishes no prices and asks you to call or email for a quote.

Oxygen source

Whatever generator you pick, the oxygen source matters as much as the machine. Medical ozone for IV use (major autohemotherapy) must be made from medical oxygen from a tank. An oxygen concentrator is fine for ozonated oil, ozone water and ozone saunas, but not for insufflation, limb bagging or IV use. Room air works for ozone water only and gives weaker ozone water. Air-fed units sold as general-purpose ozone generators can produce nitrogen oxides and are not suitable for therapy.

Warranty and returns, by brand

Simply O3

  • Warranty: lifetime on the whole machine and on every oxygen regulator, excluding user damage, oil or water pulled back into the reactor (a repair charge), accessories and secondhand units.
  • Returns: 6 months (180 days) for a refund of the device price minus shipping; you pay return shipping.

Promolife

  • Warranty: lifetime on the ozone cell; on the O3Arc, 5 years on the controls and port. Other terms are not published on the pages we read.
  • Returns: 30 days with a 15% restocking fee on generators and packages; you pay return shipping.

Longevity Resources

  • Warranty: EXT120: lifetime on the quartz glass electrode and 5 years on all other components. Quantum 5: lifetime on the electrode and 2 years on other electronics.
  • Returns: not found on the pages we read.

The three brands in brief

Simply O3

Simply O3 makes the Stratus 3.0 (home users, about 5 to 75 µg/mL, 11 settings) and the Cumulus (professionals, about 5 to 100 µg/mL, with a concentration chart fitted to each unit). Both use cold corona discharge with an ozone-resistant gas path, carry the CE mark, and come with a lifetime warranty on the whole machine and a 6-month return window. It sells both in kits: the Stratus 3.0 Home-User, Complete and Gold kits and the Cumulus Pro Essentials, Complete and Gold kits. See the maker’s page on how its generators are built, tested and backed, the Cumulus and the Stratus 3.0.

Promolife

Promolife sells the O3Elite Mini, Single and Dual and the O3Arc, made in Arkansas with a ceramic cold corona cell. The Dual covers 2 to 100 µg/mL, and the O3Arc is marketed to practitioners. Its warranty is lifetime on the ozone cell, and it sells the generators alone and in packages such as the Comprehensive Ozone Package. Its Trustpilot and Birdeye ratings are 2.1 and 3.2 (see the Reviews section). Source: O3Elite Dual page and model guide.

Longevity Resources

Longevity sells the EXT120 and Quantum 5, with ranges up to 120 µg/mL. Warranty is lifetime on the electrode and 2 to 5 years on the rest. Source: EXT120, Quantum 5.

Professional and EBOO systems

Some practices need systems built for EBOO or other advanced protocols. We did not verify current specifications for those systems for this comparison, so they are not compared here. For what EBOO equipment involves, read our EBOO machine price guide. If you are starting an IV practice, begin with standard IV ozone (MAH), which any of the generators above can run. See IV Ozone 101 training.

What about European medical units (Zotzmann, Herrmann)?

Zotzmann and Herrmann (Medozon) make European medical ozone units. They are used mainly for 10-Pass ozone therapy in hospital and clinic settings and cost far more than the generators on this page. The figures we found run from about $13,000 to $40,000 or more, from blog and dealer listings, and the makers quote prices on request (researched October 16, 2026). We do not compare them here. For what that equipment involves, see our 10-Pass cost and equipment guide.

Bottom line

For home use we recommend the Simply O3 Stratus 3.0 Complete Kit ($1,999.99), and for practices the Simply O3 Cumulus Pro Complete Kit ($4,789.99). Of the three makers, Simply O3 publishes the most for a buyer to verify: materials in the gas path, calibration and electrical testing of every unit, a lifetime warranty that covers the whole machine, a 6-month return window, and the largest set of third-party reviews, rated 5.0 on Birdeye. The generator-only prices are $1,749.99 (Stratus 3.0) and $4,499.99 (Cumulus) if you already own the rest.

Longevity is a reasonable choice if you want a wider concentration ceiling and are fine with requesting a quote. Promolife’s Trustpilot and Birdeye ratings are low (2.1 and 3.2), so read its reviews on Trustpilot and Birdeye before you buy. Whatever you choose, ask for the return and warranty terms in writing.

Frequently asked questions

Which ozone kit is best for home use?

We recommend the Simply O3 Stratus 3.0 Complete Kit at $1,999.99. It includes the Stratus 3.0 generator (11 settings from about 5 to 75 µg/mL), a regulator, a water bubbler, an ear set, bags, syringes and catheters, and it carries a lifetime warranty and a 6-month return window.

Which ozone kit is best for a practice?

We recommend the Simply O3 Cumulus Pro Complete Kit at $4,789.99. It includes the Cumulus generator (quartz glass reactor, concentration chart fitted to each unit), a regulator, a syringe fill system with 25 syringes and a water bubbler, with a lifetime warranty on the whole machine and a 6-month return window.

How much does an ozone setup cost?

On October 17, 2026, Simply O3 listed the Stratus 3.0 Complete Kit at $1,999.99 and the Cumulus Pro Complete Kit at $4,789.99. Promolife listed its Comprehensive Ozone Package at $1,849.90 and its O3Arc Ozone Saline Professional Package at $3,295.00 to $3,320.00. Longevity does not publish prices; a 2018 order form listed its Quantum 5 Complete Pro Package at US$5,995. Generators alone cost $1,749.99 and $4,499.99 (Simply O3) and $1,295.00 and $2,495.00 (Promolife). Prices change.

What should I check before buying an ozone generator?

Check the gas-path materials, whether each unit is calibrated and tested, what the warranty covers, the return window, third-party review ratings with counts, and how service works.

Does Simply O3 have a return policy for generators?

Yes. You can return a generator within 6 months (180 days) for a refund of the device price minus shipping. You pay return shipping.

What does a lifetime warranty cover?

It depends on the maker. Simply O3 covers the whole generator and the regulator. Promolife states lifetime coverage on the ozone cell. Longevity covers the quartz glass electrode for life and other components for 2 to 5 years.

What are Promolife’s third-party reviews like?

On October 17, 2026, Trustpilot showed 2.1 from 9 reviews, all 1-star, and Birdeye showed 3.2 from 12 reviews. Counts are small.

Does Longevity publish prices or reviews?

Longevity does not publish prices on its product pages and asks you to call or email. The most recent prices we have are US$5,995 for the Quantum 5 Complete Pro Package (2018 order form) and US$5,195 for a Quantum 5 Basic package (2019 order form). We found no Trustpilot page and no Birdeye listing, and its BBB profile has no reviews. It posts testimonials on its own site.

What about Zotzmann and Herrmann medical units?

They are European medical units used mainly for 10-Pass ozone therapy in hospitals and clinics. Figures we found run from about $13,000 to $40,000 or more, and the makers quote on request. They are not compared here.

Can I use an oxygen concentrator for IV ozone?

No. IV ozone (MAH) needs medical oxygen from a tank. A concentrator is fine for ozonated oil, ozone water and ozone saunas.

Why avoid very cheap ozone generators?

Very cheap units often use materials that react with ozone, give no concentration chart and offer little support. That makes dosing unreliable and can add contaminants to the gas.
